Transit Visa
A visa is required to enter Nepal, except for SAARC National (not Afghanistan). One can get a visa at the Royal Nepalese Embassy, consulate, or airport upon arrival. Two copies of the passport-sized photograph are required to get a visa.
Visa Fee
Multiple entries: USD 30 for 15 days.
Multiple entries: USD 50 for 30 days.
Multiple entries: USD 125 for 90 days.
The visa extension fee is USD 45 for the first 15 days; thereafter, it is USD 3 per day.
Tourists can stay a maximum of 150 days in a visa year.
Children under 10 years old do not need to pay a visa fee.
If a visitor already visited Nepal and intends to visit again within the same year (within Jan-Dec) can obtain an entry visa by paying US$ 50 for 30 days.

Transit passengers will get a transit visa for 72 hours at the airport. (NEW)
For Tibet
A visa is required to enter Tibet, the Autonomous Region of China. One can get a visa at the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu and need two copies of passport-sized photographs.
Visa Fee
visa fee to Tibet is not constant. Please provide your travel date. Normally, American Nationality is 175 USD. Other than the US national rate of 85 USD. per person.
For Bhutan
The visa application procedure is required to be done in advance through a tour operator and receive advance approval before you travel to Bhutan but the actual visa is issued only when you arrive in the country. Three copies of passport-sized photographs are required on arrival.
