Global Adventure Trekking Company is a renowned, trustworthy, registered travel and trekking Company under the laws of the Nepal Government and accepts your bookings under the following terms and conditions.

1. Down Payment

To secure a place, a 10 % non-refundable down payment will need to be made in advance according to the company policy. The rest of the balance should be paid upon arrival in Kathmandu.

3. Payment of the Balance

The payment for the outstanding balance of your holiday should be made before departure. If you choose to settle your holiday balance by credit card, a handling charge of 4% on the outstanding balance is made. There is no handling charge for payment by cash.

4. Last-minute booking

We accept your last-minute booking with a 30 % down payment. (We accept last-minute bookings ONLY IN CASES OF NEPAL TRIPS, but LAST-MINUTE BOOKING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE FOR INDIA, BHUTAN, AND TIBET TRIPS).

5. Refund

No refund will be made for the 10 % deposit amount in case of a trip cancellation for any other reason but you can postpone the trip without paying an additional fee.
Having paid the full amount of any trip, you're entitled to incur a refund in case you want to cancel your trip. Still, the cancellation charge is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip. Nevertheless, you've imposed a cancellation charge, as advised below:

  • 15–30 days before departure 30% 
  • 10 –15 days before departure 40%
  • 8–10 days before departure 75%
  • 1–7 days before departure 100%

6. Supplement Charge

On our holiday tour/trek packages, rooms are shared on a twin basis. Thus, a single room supplement charge will be imposed on the client who does not have another tour participant to share a room with; this will apply only to staying in the city.

7. Incomplete Tour

No refund will be made to clients who drop out of the journey, regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.

8. Amendment in Tour Cost

We reserve the right to revise the pricing rate posted on our website under any circumstances or on the pressure of various external factors that are beyond our control, for instance, changes in the exchange rate, government action, etc. But we put forth an effort to keep at the present rate.

9. Unforeseen Circumstances

If Global Adventure Trekking Company cancels your trip due to unforeseen circumstances like war, natural disasters, conflict, an unfavorable climate, etc., we would be happy to refer you to an alternative trip of a similar standard. Even if this doesn't fit your interest, all monies paid by you to our company will be refunded. But remember any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.

10. Clients Responsible

A tour/trek guide who represents Global Adventure Trekking Company deserves all authority during your tours. If you commit any unlawful act, you are compelled to leave the tour. No refund will be made in such case.

11. Impact on your journey

We put in every effort to ensure your comfortable travel, but you must understand that, unlike what you might be accustomed to in Western affluent countries, the Himalayan countries can't afford such facilities. weather is another factor that directly impacts your journey. Hence, patience in mind, enthusiasm, and proper preparation before head are must venture into the journey.

12. Travel Insurance

You must purchase a comprehensive travel insurance package against medical, natural calamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accidents, trip cancellations, etc. This is strongly suggested to all our esteemed clients.

13. Tour Amendment

To make alterations to any trek/tour itinerary, prior notice is requested. You're advised to stay in touch with us about this. But occasionally, you may be obliged to do so en route under certain circumstances for instance bad weather, etc.

14. Your personal belongings

On any account, we are not liable for any loss or damage of your luggage or property belonging to you, even when shouldered by porters, ponies, or vehicles. That means your possessions, and luggage are at your risk at all times.

15. Papers & Documents

All necessary documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visas, necessary permits, etc. We're not accountable for any trip formalities not being completed in time before the trip departed in the absence of essential papers and documents.

16. Risk & Responsibility

Your safety and enjoyment are our prime concern. We, therefore, carry out our responsibility honestly & sincerely to ensure your holiday is trouble-free, as well as what you, have desired. Nevertheless, unless stated otherwise, the trip may be changed under uncertain and inherent circumstances such as landslides, road blockages, floods, snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delayed arrivals, sickness or accidents, etc. Any extra cost incurred there is your responsibility and should be borne on the spot.

17. Flight Delay/Cancellation

There is virtually the possibility of flight delay or postponement due to notorious weather in Himalayan regions, which could happen, particularly, in the Everest region (Lukla), Jomsom, Dolpa, Simikot, Jumla region, etc.

When trekking in remote areas or as described above, especially during the odd season, you're highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare for some delays and avoid frustrating consequences. In case of flight cancellation pre-tour/post-tour, you need to meet your accommodation and food costs yourself.
