Nepal Heritage tour starts from Kathmandu valley exploration. Carrying 30,000 years of civilization history, Kathmandu Valley is the epicentre of Nepal’s cultural history and politics. The valley consists of three medieval cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur among which Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. In Kathmandu valley, you will visit seven impressive monuments, namely Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Changu Narayan, Boudhanath, Swoyambunath and Pashupatinath.

Before long you will drive to Chitwan National Park, Nepal’s first national park and the first World Heritage sites from Country Nepal listed by UNESCO on 1979. Chitwan National Park is home to 600 plant species, 49 amphibians, 500 birds, 56 mammals, and its flagship species include one-horned Rhinoceros, Asian Elephants, and Royal Bengal tigers. Jungle activities here include bird watching, jungle walk, visit Elephant and Gharial breeding centres, canoeing, Machan viewing and watching Tharu culture and tradition.

After Chitwan National Park, you will drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, in Southern Nepal. A world heritage site, Lumbini hosts tremendously important archaeological sites from the period of Buddha such as nativity stone, Mayadevi pond, palace ruins of Shakya palaces, Ashoka pillar etc. Today it is being developed into the world’s peace centre containing meditation centre, world peace stupa, international monasteries, crane sanctuary, and Buddhist library and so on.
