The historical tour is the most interesting tour program in Nepal that allows you to learn and experience the cultural, archaeological, and political history of Nepal. The tours include a visit to four distinct cities and towns in Nepal, starting from the capital city of Kathmandu and going through Bandipur, Gorkha, and Pokhara.
Kathmandu Valley is the city of palaces, temples, and modern sky rises including seven world heritage monuments. Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur Durbar Squares consist of 17th-century palaces, courtyards, and temples reflecting the Newari and Nepali arts at their finest form. Similarly, the Hindu temple of Pashupatinath and Changu Narayan, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Bishnu respectively, and the Buddhist stupa of Syambhu (Monkey Temple), Buddha, and White Gumga are other sites you will visit.
Bandipur is an ancient trade center and is inhabited by the Newar and Magar communities. Once here, you can explore Siddha Gufa, Kali Temple while enjoying beautiful mountain views of Annapurna and Manaslu.
Gorkha was the kingdom of Shah kings, notably of King Prithvi Narayan Shah, who went on to unite Nepal. Visiting the Gorkha Palace takes you back in time to the history of the Shah kings. Other attractions here include the Kalika Mai and Gorakhnath temples.
The tour ends with a memorable visit to the lake city of Pokhara. Pokhara is the gateway to the famed Annapurna trekking region, offering a spectacular panorama of the Annapurna and Manaslu Himalayan ranges. There are many sites you can visit in Pokhara, such as World Peace Stupa, David Falls, Fewa Lake, Rupa Lake, Begnas Tal, Mahendra Cave or take up adventure activities like Paragliding, parahawking, rafting, trekking, boating, etc.
