A journey to the Ganesh Himal Sing La Pass Trek is more than just trekking. The trip started after the 4-hour drive to Trisuli and one more hrs drive to Valche village. The overland trip is a very scenic and smooth drive, however, the road conditions can be poor due to the monsoon in Nepal.
Ganesh Himal Sing La pass (4,050 m./13,285 ft.) is the shortest and closest trekking from the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu. It is a small loop trek around the Ganesh Himal region and stops overnight in a basic homestay with locals. The trek offers abundant flora and fauna, dramatic landscapes, and mesmerizing mountain vistas, including Ganesh Himal, Shringi Himal, the Manaslu region in the south, the Langtang panorama, and part of the Annapurna range. Explore the welcoming village people of Tamang, Gurung, Blacksmith, and Chetri with their customs and traditions. This is a garden of Orchids, rhododendrons, jasmine, and other wild flora that are most commonly seen in this region. Every day, you will experience the different scenery with fluttering prayer flags, Mani Wall, Chorten, and chirping birds. Nepal experiences four different seasons: (September-November) autumn, (December-February) winter, (March-May) Spring, and (June-August) Summer-Rainy season. This low-altitude trek can be done all year, but spring and autumn are highly recommended. The Singla Pass trek is also possible to do in a very basic tea house, but camping is highly recommended.
