Global Adventure Trekking takes pleasure in informing you that the Trekking Agencies Association of Nepal (TAAN) has just finished their 41st annual election on 6th September in Soltee Hotel Crown Plaza in Kathmandu for the next two years (2019-2021).
The Global Adventure Trekking (GAT) family would like to congratulate all the newly elected executive committee of TAAN. And we would like to wish them for successful time ahead.
We hope that this newly elected team can play a significant role in sustainable tourism in Nepal. At the same time, we should not forget about mass tourism to make the Visit year 2020. If we have quality and sustainability in mountain tourism that can help to build the nation up faster as tourism is 2nd biggest industry of Nepal. And of course, it generates more opportunities to get a job in a different section of tourism. We wish the government of Nepal to always be committed and dedicated to helping the tourism sector to the expansion of the Nepali tourism industry.
