Manaslu Circuit Trekking Region is considered the unsurpassed route for trekking since the establishment of tea houses increased and the need for tented treks declined significantly. The tea houses in the Manaslu circuit were destroyed in the 2015 earthquake, but almost all of them have been rebuilt.

Manaslu Trekking is a newly opened trekking trail as an alternative Annapurna circuit trek. Start from Soti Khola, go up to (5,106 m) Larke La Pass, and meet at the Annapurna trekking route in Dharapani.

Among several popular trekking destinations in Nepal, Manaslu journey is the hidden treasure of the Himalayas. Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m/26,774 ft.) is the world's 8th highest mountain, about 65 km. east of the famous Annapurna Circuit Trek. Manaslu Circuit Trekking was in the shadow due to the lack of tea houses along the route. But nowadays, Many teahouses started to build and deliver warm hospitality with comfort for inbound and outbound travelers. Even though the 2015 earthquake hit badly, most of the local tea houses collapsed. All guest houses are rebuilt very quickly and are ready to deliver the services. Still, there are very few trekkers around, and you can enjoy more. Annapurna circuit trek and Everest base camp trekking trails are the most busy trekking trails in Nepal.

Behind Mt. Manaslu, there is a village development committee known as “Trans Himalayan Country.” Those tribes practice the same culture tradition, and Customs as Tibetans do. Start from low altitude to high altitude:

Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m/26,777 ft.) trekking will begin after a bus or jeep drive to Soti Khola. There are daily bus services via Gorkha (the District headquarters of Gorkha) Or Dhading district. After 7 hours, drive to Machha Khola (815 m) up to Dharmasala (4,460 m) and Larke pass (5,160 m/16,925 ft.) and descend to Dharapani, which is the connecting point of the famous Annapurna Circuit. The total walking distance of the Manaslu trek for 14 days is 190 km.

Manaslu Circuit Trek has a lot of things to do on the trekking route. You can make the side trip en route to the trek. Visit the monastery, the local village,  the Manaslu Base Camp, and, of course, Birendra Lake. These are the side trips for your Manaslu trips. While you take the acclimatization day, go for the side trips. Tsum Valley Trek is a great side trek option.

Famous Larke La Pass: 5,106 m./16,747 ft.

Larke La Pass is the world-famous high pass. Start from 715 m. to Dharmasala (4,460 m) and cross Larke La (5,106 m./16,747 ft.). Offers the best panoramic view of Himalayan peaks, including Himlung Mountain and several neighboring Mountains. Yes, of course, it is a challenging pass but doable!
