Phulchowki Bird Watching Day Tour takes you on a short visit to the one of the highest hilltop in the south-east of Kathmandu valley just about 14 km away at approximately 2,800 meters above sea level. Its name, which means "hill of flower", comes from the Nepali word "Phul" mean flower and "Choki" mean hilltop. True to its name, during spring and autumn the hill becomes colourful with blooming different species of wildflower comprising Rhododendron (National flower of Nepal).
