Khopra Danda Trek - 8 Days Itinerary

Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport (TIA), one of our dedicated staff will greet you at the airport and coordinate a transfer to your hotel.

After having breakfast at the hotel, drive to Pokhara by tourist bus. It is a 7-hour scenic drive to Pokhara through the Prithvi Highway. It will stop for lunch and a tea break on the way. Along the way, you can see the mountain view and beautiful landscape. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Evening walk along the lakeside.

After having a healthy breakfast at your hotel, drive to Ghandruk via Nayapul and Birethanti, where you need to check in for your permit. The first part of the trek is flat through the terrace, a small village, and crossing small streams to Chuile. Overnight at Guesthouse.

There is no bigger village along the way. You will pass some Yak huts along the way. After walking for about 4 hours, you will have lunch at Haire/Ishori. After having lunch, keep continuing to Dobato. The trails are mostly uphill. Mostly through forests, different types of alpine forests release fresh air. Overnight at the guesthouse.

We are approaching mountains, and wider valleys are seen. It is completely natural to get to the height of the mountain. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, Enjoy the most beautiful panoramic mountain view, including the glacier river and beautiful landscapes. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Wow, the great Himalayan range appears just around. The Glacier River and the noise from the silence make your trek more enjoyable. Imagine you are above the mountain and feel like you are on the horizon. Overnight at Teahouse

We will slow down as we get into the high places. We take our packed lunch with us because there is no tea shop in Khayar Lake. You may feel harder due to the altitude, but it is doable. Make sure we have enough water to drink along the way. Overnight at the guesthouse.

Again, we are trekking downhill through the valleys and hills. Mostly, we will be walking through the rhododendron forest, which has many bamboo forests with many orchid flowers. Overnight at Teahouse

Another good viewpoint point is getting to Ghorepani to see the sunrise from Poon Hill (3100 m/10,170 ft.). Overnight at Camp.

Early morning 30-minute hike to Poon Hill for the sunrise view and back to the lodge for breakfast and the trek to Tikhedhunga. It is mostly downhill through the Rhododendron forest and Magar local village. After walking for 3/4 hour, you will reach Tikhedhunga where we take lunch and take a bus to Pokhara. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the time is free.

This is another beautiful bus ride from Pokhara, departing at 8 am to Kathmandu by tourist bus. It will take around 8 hours to reach Kathmandu. There will be a couple of stops for lunch and a coffee break. You will be dropped off at Balaju Chock and transferred to the hotel. Evening farewell at a Nepali restaurant.

After having breakfast, Global Adventure Trekking arranges your airport transfer as per your departure schedule. We always wish you a safe and pleasant journey to your next destination.
