Pisang Peak (6,091m./19,978 ft.) is a Pyramidal trekking peak situated above Pisang village en route of Annapurna Circuit Trekking trails. Pisang Peak lies in the Manang Valley, the western part of Nepal. It is one of the most popular trekking peaks in Nepal. The peak is often used by beginners to master their mountaineering skills.
The highest camp of Pisang Peak climbing is at 5,400 m. Snow is a regular phenomenon while climbing the peak. The peak is technically less challenging, so any interested trekkers with some knowledge of glacier walking and ice climbing are required for successful ascending. Climbing Pisang Peak is combined with a trek through the wonderful Manang Valley close to Tibet. Pissang Peak is in between Manaslu (8,156 m., 26.781 ft.) and Annapurna I (8,091 m., 26.538 ft.). The summit of the Pisang Peak trek offers truthfully splendid views of the Annapurna Range—Tilicho Peak, Annapurna II and IV, Annapurna, and the Glacier Dome. After a successful Pisang peak summit, the descent is made through the same route, and the trek continues to Manang Valley, proceeds further up to Throng Pedi, crosses a Thorong La pass, and approaches Kaligandaki Valley, another part of the Annapurna Region. From Muktinath, we can take a jeep to Pokhara or walk one more day and take a flight to Pokhara.
Global Adventure Trekking arranges all the necessary logistics, hires experienced sherpas and crews, and obtains necessary permits from the government of Nepal. If you are interested in having a successful climb, please remember us!
