Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Arrivals and transfer to hotel
Our airport representative greets you at Kathmandu Airport (TIA) upon your arrival and transfers to Hotel. In the afternoon tour briefing followed by a stroll around the local market.
Day 02: Kathmandu valley sightseeing
Our trip starts at 9 AM after breakfast. Today, you will visit four Heritage sites in Kathmandu.
Boudha Nath Stupa: The largest stupa in Nepal and the holiest Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. It is the centre of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and rich in Buddhist symbolism.
Pashupatinath Temple: Nepal's most sacred Hindu shrine and considered one of the greatest Shiva sites, is located on the banks of the Bagmati River five km north-east of Kathmandu Valley
Swayambhunath Stupa: Swayambhunath is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city. It is also known as the Monkey Temple as there are holy monkeys living in the northwest parts of the temple. From the top of Swoyambhunath, you get a great view of the entire Kathmandu valley.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: Visit historical Kathmandu Durbar Square, which is in the heart of the Capital city of Nepal, where you will see the old Palace "the seat of power of the Malla and Shah Dynasties" until the Narayanhiti Palace was built. Get a sight of the Living Goddess Kumari at the Kumari Ghar.
Day 03: Explore Patan and Bhaktapur
Today you will visit other three Heritage sites in Patan and Bhaktapur.
Patan Durbar Square: Wonder Patan Durbar Square through narrow lanes where are numbers of Hindu and Buddhist temples with eternal wood and stone carvings wall. Admire numerous designs on wood carved windows and the architecture of Newar craftsmen of centuries ago. The stone carved Krishna temple made up of single stone is the incredible craftsmanship in the old Malla Dynasty and the row of pagoda temples are the highlights to see.
Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Visit the Bhaktapur Durbar Square "collection of Pagoda and Shikhara-style temples; sparkling masterpieces of metal, wood, and stone arts and architecture." You explore 55 Window Palace, statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, five-story Nyatapola Temple, dazzling Golden Gate, Dattatreya Square with its famous Peacock Window, chronological art Gallery, the Woodcarving Museum and the Brass & Bronze Museum.
Changu Narayan temple: Then finally we visit Changu Narayan temple where are Historical pillar erected by Manadeva in 464 AD, Garuda - flying vehicle of Lord Vishnu, Statue of Bhupalendra Malla and his queen BhuwanLakshmi as well as 7th century stone sculptures - Chanda Narayan, Sridhar Vishnu, Vishworup, Vishnu Vikrant and Narasimha.
Day 04: Drive to Chitawan
After having breakfast, we start our journey by a drive to Chitawan where is Nepal’s first national park and the first World Heritage sites from Country Nepal listed by UNESCO in 1979.
Day 05: Chitwan National Park Jungle Safari
This day set to do full day jungle activities in the national park. Enjoy a canoe ride on Rapti River, Bird watching, Jungle walk, Elephant bathing, Elephant back safari etc. We can explore Tharu village, Elephant breeding centre, Sunset views on Rapti River and in the evening enjoy Tharu cultural dance.
Day 06: Drive to Lumbini
After breakfast, we will drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. It's about 130 Km and takes around 4 hours.
Day 07: Explore the birthplace of Gautam Buddha - Lumbini
Today we explore the birthplace of Gautam Buddha – Lumbini, a world heritage site. We visit Mayadevi temple with pond, palace ruins of Shakya, Ashoka pillar, world peace flame, international monasteries, crane sanctuary, Buddhist library and so on.
Day 08: Drive back to Kathmandu
Today we drive back to Kathmandu which will takes around 7hrs. Optional we arrange you the flight for an additional cost. Transfer to Hotel and Evening farewell dinner at Nepalese typical restaurant.
Day 09: Final Departure
After having the hygienic breakfast we will transfer you to The Kathmandu Airport with a private vehicle for your final departure.
