EBC Cho La Pass Trek is a never-ending popular adventure trekking route in the Everest region suitable for all Mountain adventure lovers. We follow the Everest classical route to Everest Base Camp. It covers all the major attractions of the Everest hiking route from Sherpa village and its culture, and lush landscape to high mountains, diverse species of birds and mammals, and of course, majestic mountain views and high Himalayan passes to Tibetan Buddhism and Sherpa tradition.
Everest Base Camp with Gokyo Lake over Cho La pass trek begins with a short mountain flight to Lukla, the starting point of our journey. You will visit Namche and Tengboche Monastery and explore Chhukung Valley with enough acclimatized days before heading towards base camp and Kala Patthar. Kala Patthar at an altitude of 5,545 m./18,190 ft. offers mind-blowing views of Everest (8,848 m.29,030 ft.), Lhotse (8,516 m27,935 ft.), Nuptse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, and Khumbu glacier. Hike to Everest Base Camp (5,380 m./17,650 ft.) looking up to a gorgeous south face of Everest. Everest base camp to Chola pass trekking is harder for those who are not determined to have challenging trekking in the mountain. This trek is difficult because of the Altitude, Weather conditions, and Cho la High Pass. However, the Everest Three Pass Trek is also possible for extreme adventure.
The return route highlights a visit to the beautiful turquoise Gokyo Lake and the climbing of Gokyo Ri (5,315 m.17,435 ft.). While here, you will also make the hike to the top of Gokyo Ri and visit Cho Oyu Base camp. From here you will capture stunning views of Everest, Lhotse, Cholatse, Cho Oyu, Makalu, Pomari, Lobuche, and also Ngozumba Glacier, the biggest glacier in Nepal and the variation of the landscape. Our trek leader lets you experience the thrill of being on top of the world with a climb of Gokyo Ri (5,410 m/7,750 ft.) and an adventure of crossing Chola Pass (5,420 m./17,780 ft)
