Annapurna Base Camp Trek - An extremely pleasant experience of a lifetime.

Our planning of this trip, in discussion with Rajan, first started in late 2018 and was initially scheduled for March but due to our changing schedule, it was moved to 23 May to 05Jun 2019 - accommodated by Rajan. Rajan has been very patient and encouraging, providing all the details we needed to know prior to the trip. Upon our separate arrivals, he organized our airport pick-up personally and helped with the purchase of our additional trekking gears, providing his expert advice.

During the trek, G.A.T. had regular checks on our wellbeing through the guide, Netra Dahal. Both Netra and Namraj Dhakal were great to have as guide and porter respectively. They were always on the lookout for us whenever we trailed behind.

We had a lot of fun talking and joking throughout the 9 days of trekking, leaving more about the mountains. Netra provided good advice on AMS and was there to help me with my camera gears.

When leeches got to me, Netra helped. I was advised to remove my shoes - where there were more leeches in my right shoe.

After the trek, we had a farewell dinner with Rajan who asked for feedback on their services for their continuous improvement – very professional and impressive!
